What is the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation?

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is a non-profit conservation organization based out of Missoula Montana. Founded in 1984, the RMEF currently has more than 132,000 members in the United States, Canada, and 26 foreign countries. To date, the RMEF has conserved or enhanced 3 million acres of wildlife habitat. You can learn more about the RMEF by visiting the main web site.

Which states encompass the Northwest Region?

The Northwest Region consists of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The Northwest Region is part of the Western Division which also includes the Southwest Region. The other two regions are the Northeast and Southeast Regions.

How can I volunteer with the RMEF?

How can I submit something to be placed on the ElkNet site?

We always welcome contributions to ElkNet! ElkNet is driven by volunteers for volunteers. If you have something that you think belongs on this site for all to see, have a look at our Contributing to ElkNet page. It details the process and requirements for getting your information on this site.

Why do I see under construction notices on some pages?

ElkNet has recently completed a major upgrade, and as a result some features are not available yet. Check back soon though, as we are always working on the site and making changes.
